until the july of 2012, he was working as an english teacher at the university of cambridge (celta) in amsterdam.
after having worked for more than 10 years in established institutions,
as a professional basketball coach, a physical education and english teacher in the french educational system,
he decided to quit his 'normal' life to hit the road for a journey around the world overland for an indefinite time.
'very few things have changed my life as much as traveling' - gabriel gersch said.
